A Jerk in my JournalChapter Twenty
Author’s POV
After the act, you went home happily and of course, told Sehun about your successful plan.
Dude, they interacted each other very well and Haerin doesn’t stutter anymore!
I’m pretty sure, even after I had gone home, they both must’ve interacted more
And maybe, they might be hanging out together after the shift.
See? Gosh, a genius’s plan had just worked
And I’m proud of it.
I know it’s your plan but don’t be too arrogant alright
Jerkkkkkkk
Yeah right, but can't I be proud of myself?
Besides, you should thank me for this, psychopath~
Aye, if I hadn’t told you about this good news, will you even ship them?
Um….
No?
See, that’s why you should thank me too.
Meh.
Ok ok thank you psychopath. THANKS.
Why do you sound so sarcastic though?
Really? You’re overreacting, c’mon.
Aish let’s forget about that first. So, how about tomorrow?
Should I ignore Baek again?
I think you should, for a week.
WHAT?
For a week?
Yes I may hate him being whiny and all but he’s still by frienemy.
I kinda feel guilty to see him frowning all day.
And I thought you wanna ship RinHyun.
Do you want this plan to be successful?
If you do, then ignore him. It’s not like he’s gonna die.
Guessed that it’s the only way.
Fine then, but don’t tell me I will have to go absent from work too.
You may
If you wanna get fired.
Of course I don’t want to!
Aish, jerk.
So all you need to do is just to ignore Baek, even during work.
Act like he doesn’t exist.
But keep your eye on the both of them—scan their interactions too.
It’s weird that I see this whole thing as if you’re Nick Fury, who’s giving a mission to me—Black Widow?
What? Really?
Yeah, your sentences were so serious and ‘mission-ish’.
Nevermind.
So do you think you can handle this?
See, you’re being ‘mission-ish’ again.
I repeat.
Do you think you can handle this?
“Why does he suddenly sound so ‘mission-ish’? Weird.” You chuckled in amusement.
Roger, Mr. Mission-ish.
It is Tuesday, the second day of your ‘act’.
Just like yesterday, you would only walk pass Baek. You’re expecting him to ask what is actually wrong with you.
And yes, it did happened.
“Are you mad?” He asked. His tone sounded so shaky though.
You shook your head and casually walked, looking straight for the whole time.
Baek frowned, “I don’t get it. What is—“
“Oh, Jongin-ah!” You suddenly cut him off when you saw Jongin standing not far from the both of you. You ran towards him and smiled, “Help me with the plan today?”
“Sure.” He flashed a smile, which might kill thousands of fangirls. “I’m glad to.”
“Alright but please excuse me, for my clingy act.” You chuckled as he just giggled. “Neah, it’s okay. I’m used to it.” With that, you locked arms with Jongin and walked into the class together—acting as if you’re really happy and giddy.
Baekhyun, on the other side had his jaw dropped.
“What the did I just see?”
Just like yesterday, you sat with Jongin again. Jaein came to school today, but you asked her to exchange seats for the plan.
Thanks to Jaein’s understanding, she just agreed about it and here you were, sitting next to Kim Jongin.
Baekhyun was very frustrated about this but didn’t dare to do anything.
Since today you both didn’t have your work, you
